Fall 2026 Graduate Visit Day
Wednesday, October 28, 2:30–5:30 pm
(optional faculty talk from 1–2 pm)
Visit us in person to meet faculty and students, tour our facilities and fabrication labs, see student work, and learn more about the student experience in the graduate program.
Schedule:
- 1–2 pm — We@UIC with Robert Becker (optional)
- 2:15–3 pm — Graduate Program Overview. Meet School of Architecture Director Marc Manack and learn more about our degree programs and admission requirements with Director of Graduate Studies Kelly Bair.
- 3–3:30 pm — Building Tour + Intro to the Project Lab and Fabrication Lab. Get a look inside our spaces and visit our labs with lab specialists Alexander Jones and Christian Oiticica.
- 3:45–4 pm — Open Archive Overview. Step inside the School's special collections, meet Open Archives Director Jayne Kelley, and hear from MAD-Crit Faculty Zehra Ahmed.
- 4–5:30 pm — Studio Walk-through. See the graduate studio space and hear from some of the faculty teaching this year's semester studios. Fall 2026 graduate studio faculty include Sarah Blankenbaker and Andrew Jennings (first-year MArch), Grant Gibson and Sarah Dunn (second-year MArch), and Catty Dan Zhang and Andrew Zago (third-year MArch). Faculty and students will show and discuss this semester's in-progress work.
