We're excited to announce that The School of Architecture is among 100+ partners in CAB 5: This is a Rehearsal, the fifth edition of the Chicago Architecture Biennial opening this fall.
We will be hosting “At Home with the Collective: A Summit on Communal Housing”, a 2-day summit at UIC from October 19–20, 2023. This fall semester, Chana Haouzi, Adjunct Associate Professor, is instructing a course, “About, With, and Around: Dialogues on the Chicago Architecture Biennial”. The CAB 5 season will kick off citywide in September.
Curated by the Floating Museum, This is a Rehearsal takes an expansive view of design as an iterative rehearsal process to explore architecture, cities, and the social, ecological, economic, and political forces shaping them.
