Anne Mooney’s lecture, “A Way of Working,” explores design processes leading to a diverse portfolio of arts, cultural, sacred space and private residences set within the striking landscapes and urban contexts of the American West. Architect Anne Mooney is the co-founder of Sparano + Mooney Architecture with offices in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. The work of her practice highlights a rigorous design process as a tool for understanding and interpreting place. Each project reflects a commitment to architectural integrity, material expression, and a deep engagement with community, context and climate. The lecture offers insights into how conceptual research and site understanding evolve into realized form, creating compelling architecture deeply rooted in its environment.
