We@UIC: Alexander Eisenschmidt, “In Search of Félix Candela in Chicago”
February 15, 1pm
1100 Architecture + Design Studios

In this Wednesday event, Associate Professor Alexander Eisenschmidt will give a preview of his research and book project on the famed Mexican architect Félix Candela, who for much of the 1970s lived in Chicago and taught at UIC but remained largely invisible to the profession in the US.

We@UIC—an evolution of Wednesday|Episodes—is a series of intimate, informal afternoon meetings where faculty and students share projects and experiences generated within and throughout the school.
