Associate Professor Kelly Bair has contributed to the Architectural Beast, a collective installation presented in the second Biennale d’Architecture d’Orléans.
Through artificial intelligence, the “beast” creates new images from those submitted by the participants in order to “carve a path through a jungle of aesthetic and conceptual similarities to provoke contamination,” per curator Hernan Diaz Alonso.
The biennial, titled “Years of Solitude,” opens October 10 at the Frac Centre in Orléans and remains on view through January 19, 2020.
