Anne Dessing: And then when I went to Chicago, that’s when I had these outer space experiences and went to the other planets.

Garofalo Fellowship lecture
Thursday, May 2, 7pm
Graham Foundation, 4 West Burton Place

Please join us at the Graham Foundation on May 2 for a lecture by the 2018–19 Douglas A. Garofalo Fellow, Anne Dessing. The talk is presented in conjunction with her exhibition opening April 22 at the School of Architecture, Anne Dessing: And then when I went to Chicago, that’s when I had these outer space experiences and went to the other planets.

Please register to attend via the Graham Foundation’s website.

As the Garofalo Fellow, Dessing has done research on architectural elements that divide space, such as walls, doors, windows, columns, fences, arches, and gates. Her lecture will tell a story about surreal situations in the Midwest.
