Graduate Visit Days

Join us for an in-person visit to see our graduate studio and fabrication labs, meet faculty and students, and learn about the work happening in the program this semester. View upcoming dates.

Virtual Information Sessions

If you’re unable to make it to Chicago in person, consider attending a Virtual Information Session. These are one-hour, online sessions hosted by the Graduate Academic Advisor or Associate Director of Graduate Studies in which prospective students can learn more about the approach and curriculum of the School, the admissions process, and the kinds of work and activities graduate students are engaging with. View upcoming sessions.

Tour the School of Architecture

We welcome in-person visits to the School of Architecture. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact Annemarie Furlong, the Graduate Academic Advisor.

Graduate Reviews

Prospective students are welcome to observe our graduate students' midterm and final reviews. Midterm reviews typically occur in October and March, and final reviews in December and May. If you would like additional information, please contact Annemarie Furlong, the Graduate Academic Advisor.

Special Events and Workshops

Prospective students are also encouraged to attend public events hosted by the School throughout the year. These include events such as our evening lecture series, fall Graduate Open House, spring Portfolio Day, and Year End Show. For students who may be interested in further building or refining a portfolio for graduate admission, we recommend our 4-week YArch summer program or our fall TryArch workshop.
